The Governing Body Royds School Language College is considering becoming a foundation school and acquiring a Trust with 1st September 2012 as the proposed implementation date.
We are proud of the progress that our school has made over the last few years. We wish to make it even better and believe that we would have a greater capacity to do so by working more collaboratively with partners.
Trust schools are a new kind of school - part of the Local Authority system, but supported by a charitable trust which will appoint some of the governors.
