All students at Royds are in a House. There are four houses at Royds - Romeo, Oscar, Yankee and Delta. The house system was introduced to help create a greater sense of belonging, team spirit and competitiveness amongst both pupils and staff. Each house consists of pupils from years 7 through to 13. This creates a greater camaraderie between the different year groups as well as friendly competitiveness amongst all pupils. A range of activities takes place in which students can participate to win house points for their house.
The House Council is made up of students from each year group selected by their fellow house mates in elelctions at the start of each year. They are reponsible for the content on this page.
